This is a Joint Review and Giveaway of gDiapers between Natural Parents Network and Farmer’s Daughter.
gDiapers are an ecofriendly hybrid diapering system that offers the flexibility of using cloth or disposable, biodegradable inserts in their reusable gPants covers. I have used gDiapers with both of my sons for over three years, and I love that I’m able to use either cloth or disposables, without all the plastic and chemicals found in a conventional diaper! Disposable inserts can be flushed, composted (wet only) or thrown away. Matching clothes and baby legs complete the adorable look! You can check out the videos on their website to learn all about their hybrid diapering system and how it works.
gDiapers has been so incredibly generous! Enter to win a gDiapers Prize Pack: a gVeggie ensemble including gPants, a tee and gLegs, a set of 6 gPants, a case of disposable inserts and gWipes, worth over $195!
I started using gDiapers shortly after my son Joshua was born in 2010. They came highly recommended by a few of my eco-conscious friends as a great alternative to conventional disposables. After a short adjustment period of learning how to get the proper fit on my baby (not too tight, but not too loose, either!) I absolutely fell in love with the colorful gDiapers! By the time David joined our family in 2012, I was ready to give cloth a try. I had made some friends in the natural parenting community and a lot of them used cloth. I now saw it as a way to save money while also reducing waste. So I got some cloth inserts and gave them a try, and I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to wash newborn cloth diapers! I just threw them into the washing machine with an extra soak and rinse. When I went back to work after six months of leave, I switched back to the disposable inserts. What I really love about gDiapers is that they are so flexible and give me the choice of what will work for our lifestyle at any given time.
gDiapers can also be coordinated with tees, dresses and gLegs! The gVeggie ensemble is perfect for David! We are a family who cares about the land and where our food comes from, and I love that this message can be seen on his diaper. And the gLegs? Oh my goodness, is there anything cuter than a chunky baby in gLegs? I don’t think there is!
Good for Baby and the Earth
There are so many great things to say about the ecological impact of gDiapers. Where do I begin? The biodegradable inserts are certified Cradle to Cradle and can be flushed, composted or thrown away! The gWipes are plant-based and free of fragrances and alcohol. The reusable covers are cotton, breathable and also waterproof. Not to mention all the adorable colors!
You can purchase your own gDiapers at their website. If you’re new to gDiapers, I recommend getting about a dozen gPants, which you can buy individually or in a bundle. I love their rainbow 6-pack and keep thinking about what a great shower gift that would make! You’ll also need to get the inserts, either cloth or disposable biodegradable inserts. I’d recommend getting both to see what you like best, since I like to use cloth at home and disposables when on the go. And don’t forget to complete the outfit with a tee, dress or gLegs!
For your own chance to win a gDiapers Prize Pack: a gVeggie ensemble including gPants, a tee and gLegs, a set of 6 gPants, a case of disposable inserts and gWipes, worth over $195 , or one of the 26 huge prize packages we’re giving away, come back to this post on November 6th when our Rafflecopter widgets will go live for your chance to enter!
