“I found some money! Can we go visit Wilbur?” In Joshua’s world, the sole purpose of money is to buy grain to feed animals. Even though his grandparents would be happy to give him grain for free, we still bring change because it’s fun to use that machine.
The pigs were asleep on the other side of the pen, so we checked out some chicks first.
“Can we pick apples? Where’d they go?”
The “pot-belly piggy” ran right over to see us. Pepper is so friendly!
When Wilbur saw that we had apples, she came running! (Yes, Wilbur is a girl. I’ve forgotten her real name. Penelope or Petunia, maybe? To Joshua, all pink pigs are Wilbur.)
All the animals loved the apples we threw into the pen!
Baby David came along for this adventure, too, but he slept the whole time. It was great to get out in the mild December weather after a rainy day yesterday.
