New Door ~ Wordless Wednesday with Linky

My wonderful husband built this Dutch door to close off our mud room from our kitchen and the rest of the downstairs. The hope is that we’ll be able to keep the heat from being sucked up the stairs to the big empty room over our garage when the weather is cold. I have always loved Dutch doors and plan to leave the top open during warmer weather. Now we just need to paint it an antique blue color to match the island in our kitchen and our pantry cabinets. Next project: cabinets, beaded board and shelving in our mud room!
