We got all good news at my 18 week appointment. All signs point to a healthy baby, and we got to see fingers, toes, brain, skeleton, heart, stomach bladder, kidneys… It’s so exciting to me to be able to see that! At 18 weeks, the baby is measuring at about nine ounces big and I’ve gained a little less than two pounds. I’m feeling great, though I kind of can’t believe we’re already half-way there!
We also got the news that it’s a… BOY!
Joshua is so excited to find out he’s going to have a little brother! Ed and I are thrilled- we love our little boy and we think Joshua’s going to be a great big brother. We’re so hopeful that our boys will be the best of friends.
