I had a great week on vacation! I didn’t go anywhere, but that was the really great part. I had time to relax at home and check things off of my to do list, especially getting ready for Joshua’s 2nd birthday party! I really can’t believe that my little boy is going to be 2 already! We’re going to have a train theme since he is in love with Thomas lately, and Ed and I are going to build him a train table for his present. Of course Ed can’t just build anything, he has really high standards for furniture. He’s going to make it out of mahogany and I’m going to paint the top. It will definitely become a family heirloom!
My real food resolution also went on vacation as I enjoyed going out to eat quite a few times over the week! I’ll be happy to get back into our routine in the coming week, though I loved having Joshua’s nap time at home every day to get things done at home! I can imagine how much more I would be able to get done if I had two hours at home alone every day!
We visited the beach and playground on the warm days, playing outside with no coats on. Then we had a snow storm so we got to play in the snow, too! You’ve got to love New England weather. Photos will be posted on Wednesday, be sure to stop by and link up your Wordless Wednesday posts!
