Can you see them? The picture isn’t great because I took it with my phone and zoomed way in. There were 9 deer in our back woods, and they were much easier to see when they were in motion! Four were babies, but they had already lost their spots. The rest were does, and one had a tracking collar on. They all looked well fed and healthy, thanks to our mild winter this year.

Very cool! Baby and I love spotting deer in our yard too. When I was 9 months pregnant with Baby and had just moved into this house, I looked out the kitchen window, and a mama deer and a brand new baby – the smallest deer I have ever seen – were standing right outside my window looking at me. It was such a beautiful sign of what was to come for me ;-)

How awesome to live amongst scenery such as that. Yesterday, while driving down a road that is typically very busy, we spotted several deer on the side of the road, eating. Such an unusual and surprising sight for that area.
