I had the idea of making a butternut squash pie today after picking one up at the farm I work at, and I stumbled upon your gorgeous and simple recipe from a few years ago! I couldn’t locate any contact info for you so I figured I could ask here. I was wondering if you think I could substitute half and half for the heavy cream, as I need some for another recipe I am planning on making this weekend (Irish Soda Bread…mmm).

I’ve never used half and half, and I’m not sure how it would set up without the cream. If you try it, please let me know!
