Since I grew up on a farm in New England, the fall season was always filled with pumpkins. I spent every weekend working at the farm market and I used to love watching families take pictures among the pumpkins. Whether it was a new baby, a newly engaged couple, a pooch, or a whole family portrait, everyone wanted to get a good shot surrounded by the orange of pumpkins, the vibrant mums, and the neutrals of hay bales and corn stalks.
I remember stopping into local businesses and seeing pumpkin photos posted on the wall, smiling because I knew they were taken at my family’s farm. Years later, perusing friends’ photos on Facebook, I recognized my family’s farm yet again. It’s both funny and strange that so many people have photos of themselves at the place I called home for 26 years. I do still love looking at those pumpkin patch pictures!
In the spirit of the harvest season, I’ve decided that Wednesday, October 26 will be Pumpkin Patch Picture day here at Farmer’s Daughter, and I’d like to invite you all to share your photos. Please email your Pumpkin Patch Picture, no larger than 600×600, to me at farmersdaughterct@gmail.com by October 21. Please include a caption and a link to your blog (if you have one). I’d love to have tons and tons of participants in this great big Wordless Wednesday.

Maybe consider using a linky for this! That way you’d have the pictures on here and don’t have to post them yourself.
Take a look at my Wordless Wednesday’s posts for what that would look like :)

I’m sending my photo in – in the event that you don’t do a linky. :)
