Call for Guest Posts!

Fall is the busiest time of year for me. This will be my 9th year teaching, and in addition to AP Environmental Science and Botany, I’ll be teaching a new subject: Physics! It’s also the busiest time at my family’s farm and though I no longer work in the farm market, we do go to visit every weekend.  It’s also fair season so we’ll be heading out to see the sights, and it’s prime tractor pull time as well.  So, needless to say, I’ll be busy!

Last fall I asked for guest posts and it worked out so well that I got to take a sort of blog-cation for September and October! This year I won’t be abandoning writing completely, but I will slow down and would love to feature one or two guests posts each week.  That’s where you, dear friend, come in.

Guidelines

Posts should fit in well here, including such topics as simple living, gardening, cooking, crafting, agriculture, outdoors, environmental activism or natural parenting. Photo essays welcome, too! You can send me a word document, or if you’re tech savvy enough to send the html code, that’s even better! Please submit posts to farmersdaughterct@gmail.com. Posts will be accepted on a rolling basis, and I will let you know what date I plan to publish your post.

What’s in it for you?

Each post will include some linky love back to your blog. If you want to include a link to your Twitter account or Facebook Fan Page, we can do that, too. You’ll also have my gratitude!

What’s in it for me?

I will get some time off of blogging so I can relax a bit while still posting new content here.

Note: This is a family-friendly site and I reserve the right to reject posts if they don’t fit my definition of appropriate. I also reserve the right to edit for spelling, grammar, etc., because I’m Type A like that.  I will not accept posts that are intended as advertising.

  4. Hi, just wondering if it needs to be new content or can I post it on my own site at the same time?
