Today we took Joshua to the farm to visit with his grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and animals.

We kept our distance from the llamas, they spit!

What a blessing for little Joshua to have so many people around who love him! How amazing is it for him to have such loving parents and grand-parents but also great grand-parents and aunts, uncles and cousins. I hope when I have a baby someday they will have the same great loving community for support.

  2. What a beautiful post! I loved seeing Joshua as he got to meet the animals on the farm. :)

I was always told by llama keepers if they spit at you to hock up a loogie and spit back. But you would know more than I.

Wow BIg day today, love the big blue tractor with the big blue sky, has Dad showed him “everything” yet? So cute! So glad you could get outside and enjoy this beautiful day and do the meet and greet! See you tomorrow xoxo
Dukie does look kind of mad, the same look Ciara had, don’t you think :)

  5. Don’t you know, Joshua is right where he needs to be and probably where he will want to be when he gets it all figured out. What precious pictures.

  6. Poor Dukie, he looks more than a little jealous. It’s hard when a new baby shows up and steals your thunder.

    Hi Abbie..

This is Thiru from India. I have been reading all your blog for a while… Its very interesting.. I loved it… I just want to congrats you for your promotion (as a mother)… :) May God bless you, Ed, and Joshua…

  8. LOVED spending the weekend with Joshua; so much fun introducing him to everyone and everything. Don’t you worry, Dukie will still get plenty of loving at our house. I can remember our old Golden Retriever, Rusty, having his “nose out of joint” when you were born. As with all animals, we’ll given them their attention and never trust them alone with the baby. Also, Eddie the Sheepdog felt that way when Dukie joined the family!

What a lovely day for a stroll . . . everyone in the fam SO enjoyed spending time with Joshua, even if he slept through most of it!

    Love,
    Mom/Grandmom

  9. P.S. Just LOVE the pic of you with Joshua and Ed with Josh and the “big blue tractor!”

  10. Hi, Abbie. Thanks for stopping by. I replied, but didn’t know if you’d see it. I love these pictures! I hope our dog (a golden retriever also) looks a little happier when she meets our baby. I’m hoping we all settle in with no problems!

  11. So sweet, :-) I am sure that Duke is soon to be one of Joshua’s best buds. Levi and Toby are good friends; Toby loves when Levi pets him (though I admit that Annabelle and Toby have never been good pals).

Anyway, gorgeous photos. Glad to see you and your blossoming family out and about, :-)

  12. He’s cuter than all the little animals put together!! I hope they know they’re getting a run for their money. You all look so happy, and we’re so happy for you! :)

  13. Hi, Abbie – I know you’re busy with the new baby but was wondering if you’d be interested in doing a guest post over at The Green Phone Booth. I can’t find any contact info for you, so please email me. Looking forward to hearing from you!
